Having Trouble Getting Tickets to RockyGrass Bluegrass Festival? TicketLiquidator Has Some!

Press reports this week reported rapid sales of tickets for two premier summer bluegrass festivals in Colorado:  the RockyGrass Festival in Lyons and the Telluride Bluegrass Festival.  If you’ve had trouble getting tickets for these events, here’s some good news:  some of the best tickets are still available from TicketLiquidator.

If you’re a bluegrass music fan, then the RockyGrass Festival in Lyons, Colorado needs no introduction.  Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, the first festival was organized in 1973 by legendary musician Bill Monroe, the creator of bluegrass music.  The festival has only grown in popularity since then and now sells out every year.  In fact, articles in Rocky Mountain newspapers this week announced that only about 100 of the coveted 3-day passes to RockyGrass are left — and that’s for a festival that’s happening July 26 – 28, 2013!

However, since I am all about helping you find the best stuff to accomplish your goals, I wanted to let you know that one of the best online ticket aggregators, TicketLiquidator, still has some 3-day general admission passes left — about 30 as this is written.  If you’re interested, you should click here now to go to TicketLiquidator and buy them.  They won’t last long.  Two individual passes are being sold as a package deal in most cases, with prices ranging from $210 – $241 for each 2-ticket package.

If you haven’t heard of TicketLiquidator, they are an online ticket exchange company that brings together sellers and buyers of tickets — even for events that are sold out through other ticket-selling venues.  In business since 2002, they have gained a trusted reputation as a ticket-seller and are relied upon by thousands of ticket buyers and sellers.  They have a 4.8 rating (out of 5) among customers who have reviewed them on Google and a rating of 4 (out of 5) by customers on Epinions.

Their site provides a secure shopping environment and they offer a 125% money-back guarantee if there is a problem with your ticket order, such as the tickets not being delivered in time or if there is a problem with the validity of the tickets.  Not that the preceding two things happen very often.  TicketLiquidator is trusted to the point that several million tickets are offered through their exchange every day.

So, if you want to attend the RockyGrass Festival, shop with confidence at TicketLiquidator and get ’em while they’re hot!

If you are not yet a full-fledged bluegrass “Festivarian” (a term in the festival community for enthusiastic fans of all things music-festival related), but you are a fan of bluegrass, then you might want to consider attending this year’s festival.  The atmosphere is always great, and of course the bands are top-notch.

A report on the 2011 RockyGrass Festival by banjo player and recording artist Jack Schepps began this way:

RockyGrass continually lives up to its reputation, year after year. It has been called the “perfect” festival, and I have a tendency to agree. Though one might say I am biased; this is my 17th time attending RockyGrass over the last 19 years. There is just one main stage here, but it offers so many highlights in a day that you cannot capture them all.

The fact that RockyGrass is now selling out so quickly is testament to its popularity.  Many bluegrass devotees have been attending for decades.

The line-up of performers at the 41st  RockyGrass Festval (again, being held from July 26 – 28, 2013) includes:  Sam Bush Bluegrass Band, Blue Highway, The Steeldrivers, Peter Rowan, Kathy Kallick Band, Head for the Hills, and Keller Williams with The Travelin’ McCourys.  That’s just a partial list, and many more groups are still to be announced.

Attend the RockyGrass Festival just once in bucolic Lyons, Colorado, and you, too, may become a full-fledged festivarian.

Telluride Bluegrass Festival

The same goes for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, which could be thought of as the RockyGrass Festival’s older brother.  Four-day passes for the Telluride Bluegrass Festival went on sale on December 5 and sold out in about 3 hours.  From most ticket outlets, only single-day tickets to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival are now available — except for TicketLiquidator.  From TicketLiquidator you can still get a 4-day pass to the Festival, which is being held from June 20 – 23, 2013.  As this is written, TicketLiquidator has about 25 4-day passes left, and single-day tickets for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are also available.  Click here to see availability of Telluride Bluegrass Festival tickets at TicketLiquidator.

There’s no better way to celebrate the Summer Solstice than in the town of Telluride, Colorado, listening to some of the best bluegrass bands in the world along with the most knowledgeable and attentive bluegrass fans in the country.

The lineup for this year’s Telluride Bluegrass Festival includes:  Yonder Mountain String Band, Jackson Browne, Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell, Jerry Douglas Band, Leftover Salmon, Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy, and the Steep Canyon Rangers.  And that’s just a smidgeon of the great bluegrass performers on tap for Telluride this year.

If you’re out of state and need to make travel arrangements, I recommend that you begin on the Expedia site, where you can get flight and lodging information and find some of the best travel deals.

Note that during the month of June, TicketLiquidator is offering $25 off on ticket orders of $250+ when you use coupon code “june13“.  Click the banner at the bottom of this page to shop for tickets and enter the code at checkout.
