Have Fun with the LEGO Boba Fett Slave I Ship from Star Wars

You know, if the Egyptians had had LEGOs, they probably would have built the pyramids out of them…

LEGO Boba Fett Slave I Ship from Star WarsNowadays, you can build almost anything out of LEGOs.  This Danish company, which started modestly in 1932, has now grown to be the fifth largest manufacturer of toys in the world.  Just goes to show the power of a good idea (in this case, the idea was the LEGO “brick”).

Here’s another good idea:  Boba Fett’s Slave I space ship from Star Wars:  The Empire Strikes Back, now available as a kit you can build out of LEGOs.  This is a cool model, with 573 pieces, rockets that fire, and character figures included.  Get it from Entertainment Earth, which is a juggernaut of fun and diverse entertainment in its own right.

By the way, LEGO is an abbreviation of the two Danish words “leg godt,” which means “play well.”

Play well, buckaroo.  (Of course, Boba Fett didn’t play well with others, which is why he ended up inside the sarlacc.)
