And what better way to ease into the new season than by perusing Moosejaw’s new “CFO Catalog?” (Which is a dumb name, explained quite appropriately on the catalog’s first page.) This is actually a nifty, high-tech, interactive online catalog (didn’t know they had it in them). The guys at Moosejaw properly begin it with women in bikinis, just to make sure we remember what spring is really about, and then they introduce some of the new gear we’ll be wearing to look cool and function comfortably in our upcoming outdoor endeavors. They begin with T-shirts — because, really, what do you reach for first when it gets warm? They follow with shorts and sandals. But they also include some of the technical jackets and rain gear you’ll need, too, because spring and early summer are nothing if not unpredictable.
